From what I understand, a CJ Grill.

I'm sure there would be a color change, but let's pretend not.

If you don't run the hood, what will ya run??? Skins?

actually i was debating posting this same question

the plan has always been a CJ grill and hood, I am just running plastic skins with what ever I do so those dont really matter...

the thoughts I have had are:

Liberty Hood and Grill (not my choice but the availability is nice)
Dodge front end similar to Joel Randalls
Mercedes front like Bart Jacobs
something totally different?!?!?!

Personally, I like the look of the hood. Problem is, everyone does it. If you are looking for something different fab up a different hood. Brake out the plasma cutter and cut up a hood that no one else is running.... Like a,,,, old ford truck. It has the same type of curve for the front hoop as the CJ. no..?? ok,,, how about a.... Subaru WRX

a subaru is kinda interesting, wonder what the price tag is on one of those...the front radiator hoop will be getting cut off if I go with a different hood/grill so that doesn;t matter too much...

I would go to the junk yard and walk around. Look for something with character that you can cut up, squeeze together to meet you personality. Don't just look at trucks, look at cars as well.

Could be fun, you might find something Way Cool.

Wow, that thing (the hood) looks WAY better in the pics than it does in person. Hmmmm, maybe my opinion is changing on the choice of hood/grill.....I'll hold off on voting in the poll until I make up my mind.

OK, I made my mind up, cuz I remembered how far out the rounded edge of the hood sticks from the tubes. I voted the import one, but I don't think it should be limited to imports--just not CJ-based. (no offense to you CJ kinda guys out there.)

Man, the hood does look better in pics then it does in person.. Eh, either way my vote is for something else. Either some cool slinky cut down hood, or a custom one made to fit. The CJish radiator hoop could easily be cut off at fender level, and replaced with a tube straight across at that level. That would potentially increase visibility, as well as provide oportunity for a way cooler look'n buggy, IMHO. The CJ buggy thing has been done to death, do something different. My vote. Either way you're gonna love this thing. I can't wait to see it on the trail.
