Jeep should I wrap it or not?

received this stainless steel header for my LJ and it looks so great as is but it also came with exhaust wrap...
So should I wrap it or leave it all shiny?

Wrapping it will help with under hood heat and getting the hot gasses out the tailpipe, since the header is stainless it won't rust... which would be my concern with header wrap. I'd say wrap it, but take your time and do it right. I've used hose clamps to hold header wrap in place before.

It won't stay shiny for long. I wouldn't wrap it though, that stuff gets nasty when it gets muddy and whatnot. It's not going to add any power. I'd leave it for the rat rods & ricers in magazines.

You don't think the wrap would help cut down underhood temps, Mike?

Yeah it probably would but it's going in a wrangler, not a cherokee, so that might just be fixing a problem that doesn't exist. It's really not a big deal either way, I don't think I would bother though.
