Sierra/SUWA funding question

So, I have been having conversations with a Sierra Club "friend" and I have taken the stance that the off road community is just as environmentalist as the SUWA and Sierra folks. I also explained that while we fight for public access, we are outgunned monetarily. I loosely spoke about SUWA and Sierra Club receiving vast sums of money from folks that are not directly involved in the fight. I.E. coastal democrats that have more money than brains dumping cash into "environmental causes"...... Can anyone here corroborate my insinuation that SUWA and Sierra are getting that cash flow while Blue Ribbon and USA-ALL are primarily funded by the local clubs and members. This is not necessarily a debate or an accusation, as we have plenty of banter on this board about where we think the money comes from, but more as a flashlight with which to shine light on the inequities of fighting an ultra-hardcore agenda

one of my used to be favorit actors named Harrison Ford, said in a people mag artical that he gave over a million to Sierra club to help the enviromntal cause.

I should follow thru with my threats to dump all of his flics in my collection
