Yea, one of my employees guides on his off days and I am sometimes amazed at what his tips are. Also amazed sometimes at how cheap some prominant CEO's can be sometimes as well.

I know a couple guys that guide. Big fat tips like that are not uncommon.

I am always happy when I can find 1 deer/elk/moose with antlers on it.

The guys that I know have books full of trophy size animals, and can tell you where each one is at about anytime of the day. You look at the pictures, decide which one you want to shoot, and he puts you in front of it. It truly is amazing. I think guides earn every penny/bonus they make.
