the winch usually sat inside in the truck.it only came out when needed.as for power i had quick connect power points front and back.

That's a concept that I've been toying with, I'd like to set all my jeeps up with recievers and use the winch interchangeably. I've never met anyone who uses it. Did you weld a reciever mount inside the rig to keep it from hitting you in the back of the head flyin' over obstacles?

.. Radiator Rapids, is right above that big boulder you walked your driver side wheels over (one sami made love to several weeks back) right?

Sami about rolled there with a left line, everyone else struggled a bit with a center line.

CORRECTION... both those instances were Robbie...:D just clearin my name..

Ya but it sounds like you jinx'd him back

purely by accident:p

very low moment of my wheeling career... shaft broke on the waterfall on rattlesnake... i didn't air down due to laziness, and i was bouncing it hard(no more than usual it seemed)... i think it was just time for the shaft to go, cause i've beaten it much harder before. as for the crossmember, i'm not sure when that gave up on me.. i just noticed a strange clunking sound in the rear, and alot of bouce in the rear suspension... mush like an old Cadilac, and figured a shock broke off of a mount... got out to check, to see the whole mount broke off..

You guys didn't find my front license plate up on Constrictor, at the rocks on the last turn before the waterfall, did you? We were there on the 27th and I had to break out the winch there. The plate is on a Kilby plate holder that snaps onto the winch fairlead.

Glad you guys made it out of there, we dang near came back up. Felt bad leaving when you were trying to get out of that hole.

That White XJ belongs to Lance. I'll leave the last name out and let him post if he's a member. Really nice guy. We are in the same business, didnt even know he was a fellow wheeler till we ran into him at the waterfall.
Was a good day all in all.

We have a few pics of you two heading of the waterfall, if I get time I post them up.
