It was a pretty good day!

I didnt get very many pics but there was a lot of carnage!

I bent the living h&!! out of my rear tie rod and I broke a rear Rockwell shaft on the Eagles nest!

Matt bent a wheel and lost all the air out of his tire.....on the Eagles nest


Jared broke a u joint on his Volkswagon V drive (yes you read that right)....on the Eagles nest

Of course Steve and Kiel drove up without much problem.

It really wasnt impressive. I didnt hear it and didnt know it broke. The guys told me it wasnt spinning so I thought I bumped the t case out. It didnt feel like it hit very hard at all. It did bounce a couple times so that must have done it.


But yes....you missed out

Nope....dangit.....it was the long side inner. I cant get the broken piece out with the magnet so Im pulling the chunk as well.

Dont worry tho....I will be ready for next weekend

I cant get Mitch to come help me anymore. I must have used up all my little brother man hours. He only came over for a couple hours on my whole 4 link build.

I might have to bribe him to get him to come help this week

Sounds to me that you likely showed up that day with a wounded shaft

I kind of think so to. I really wasnt beating it that hard....yet. I did want to make it up with no winch again so I was kind of just getting a feel for hitting it when it all went down.....dangit.

Better here than in the Idaho TTC that is next saturday that Im going to!

Looks like a good time!! You know that you shouldn't try to lift the back of the Scout up by putting it on that tie rod.... And what did that little rock do to you??? Honestly brother!!! lol..
So would you say that overall you are pleased with the performance of the 4-link?? Or are you going to be doing some tweaking to it before ITTC next weekend?
