Looks like a good time!! You know that you shouldn't try to lift the back of the Scout up by putting it on that tie rod.... And what did that little rock do to you??? Honestly brother!!! lol..
So would you say that overall you are pleased with the performance of the 4-link?? Or are you going to be doing some tweaking to it before ITTC next weekend?
Good luck!!! Wish I could be there to pit crew for you brother!
Matt

That dang rock took my lunch money!! :greg:

I am very pleased with how it performed and I dont think I will be changing much on it anytime soon

Honestly, Cheston's rear axle must have been almost gone before that. He was not hard on it at all. It just quit turning, no bang or pop or anything. Matt, glad you made it out on that flat. Other tires wouldn't have faired as well.

I pulled the short side out last night to try to beat the broken peice out.

THe short side splines have a slight twist in them as well!!!!

Im trying to think of when I really have beat on these axles. I know they werent twisted when I put it together but I dont remember really hammering anything.

Im gonna have start saving pennies for a set of Ouverson shafts I guess

It was nice meeting all of you and it was fun watching the bigger toys. After I left to go home my jeep broke down about 5 miles away. my arb locker cylinder cap bolts backed out and broke. I had to have it towed home. so I aslo didnt get away with no problems. \

that sucks man! You can post any pic of a certain someone stuck on a big rock. Wouldnt be the first time and wont be the last.

I got a new shaft installed and also got a good condition tie rod. I sleeved the new one with a piece of tube so hopefully it will be a little stronger.

Cant wait to beat on it some more!

Bummer. It was nice meeting you too. I had to take off early to get my bike out of the shop before they closed.
