Underdog? Dean? How can you be the UnderDog with an Atlas AND a Klune-V??
I heard a rumor that the 'Samuari' Dean drives will be recieving a set of Tera 60's soon!!
I'm surprised Chris and I placed where we did, because we were having major Electrical Problems (and other LAME stuff) starting out on the 2nd day. We were lucky to place where we did, let alone get back down to the Pavement.
Here's a Pic I borrowed from 4x44U.com, of Chris and I working on one of our Problems-
Honestly, I would like to see the MoabRocks event grow like UROC has. I think the potential is there..... in the mean time, there are a few concerns I had, and some that were discussed by others involved in the Comp.
- Getting in between and around on the Courses. We had to be WINCHED up one Hill, just getting to our first Gate..... BEFORE the Comp. started!! The Routes to each next Obstacle should be Taped off for ease of Travel.
- More actual 'Legends' Lines. There were only 3 Legends Lines, the rest of the time the Legends Rigs had to drive the same Lines that the Unlimited Guys were driving. It was a little much for the smaller, less built Rigs. There were way too many people that pointed out.... even Unlimited Rigs!!
- The Course desigeners should have made sure all the lines we're Driven before the Competition. There was more than a couple obstacles that were never attempted, untill the Comp.
Thats enough of my ranting for now.....
If any of the guys that organized the MoabRocks Event reads this, please take those points into consideration for the next Event. I'm sure there will be plenty of feedback, and I hope to see a change for the better on Labor Day!
'MoabRocks' truly ROCKS! The potential is there, it just needs to be fine tuned!
