yup. no wonder the diff siezed. that pinion probably jammed the ring gear solid

It also completely explains why it would rotate backward, but lock going forward. (forward pulls the pinion leftovers into the ring/carrier)

His schedule for the season should qualify him for KOH next year way before LCQ.
