do you remember when fireworks were cool? i mean the ones you buy at the fireworks stand. i used to love watching them when i was a kid now they are lame.......it sucks to get old.

My dad used to always bring home cool fireworks. He travels the country so he gets his pick of whats hot and whats not
The best ones he got (it was YEARS ago) were from Missouri, they were damn near identical to the ones you see at all the major parks

we went to see fireworks in tooele this year, out at the deseret peak complex. they have been pretty good in years past........
they sucked! 10 minutes worth of fireworks, they didnt even turn off the parking lot lights this year. from our spot you could see grantsvilles show. they started 5 minutes before and lasted another 15 minutes after tooeles show. it was not worth sitting in that line of cars for 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot.

yeah, that Deseret Peak deal BLEW. We watched from the old airstrip near Chez Tacoma. The ones the new museum had rocked though!
as far as the neighbors, I HAD neighbors like that until I beat them all to death. Or the cops arrested them all in a drug raid 6 mos ago, I can't remember.

geez and I felt bad lighting them at 11:15. We did a parachute firework, it was supposed to have an army guy on it and it blew away . My boy is pissed! :-\

We used to live right next to some fresh from the border Mexican's and they throw some wild and noisy Cinco (sp) de mayo (May,5) parties. All freaking night long it would be drunk and disorderly sombrero wearing fools.

Just be glad you didn't go to Thanksgiving Point's show, it was literally a parking lot for 2 hours afterwards. There was a fire on the south end of the frontage road and an accident on the north end. What a joke, 2 1/2 hrs of traffic control AFTER the fireworksEKSJAE said:

neighbors...
I live in Evanston and I have had to deal with the fireworks all night long for the past two weeks... and will probably go another week from now... and then again around the 24th when all you utahns come up again... not to mention that highway 150 going south to mirror lake is like the daytona race way... friday night I was passed by a guy pulling a hugh 5th wheel doing 65 in a 30 zone... at least monday night the highway patrol come up and parked by the side of the road and slowed the traffic down some....
Anyway just venting...

I live in Evanston and I have had to deal with the fireworks all night long for the past two weeks... and will probably go another week from now... and then again around the 24th when all you utahns come up again... not to mention that highway 150 going south to mirror lake is like the daytona race way... friday night I was passed by a guy pulling a hugh 5th wheel doing 65 in a 30 zone... at least monday night the highway patrol come up and parked by the side of the road and slowed the traffic down some....

Ahh... fireworks. What a freakin waste of money. Just think, all that money you spent on cheap pops and sparks, (and I would bet it was a small fortune) you could've spent on jeep parts and wheelin accessories! here's an idea, instead of buying fireworks you just give me that $100 bill and I will spend it for ya!
Oh yeah, I was kept awake by the annoying screamers and spark spitters til about 1:00am. Oh the joys of Utah. And to think, we get to go through this again on the 24th for some stupid state holiday! KENNETH !!

Next year you guy's need to come to my street here in evanston,I'll show you a firework display.There is no lame resriction's on what kind of firework's here prolly like utah does.Also I laugh at the utah'ns that come up and get the firework's and alchohol during the holiday's.You just cant come here,get what you want and take back off down the interstate.The cop's do hang out and watch who come's and goes across the border.
