So you wanna drive a big truck?

use f1 or f2 to raise and lower a little telescope bar on the roof of your rockcrawler to help you flip it back over. Don't worry about the rescue truck, just use the telescope bar and drive yourself back over. For the rockcrawling course I found it was best to switch to a manual transmission mode so I can keep it in first gear. That helps a lot to keep the crawler right side up. My biggest problem is that it gets dark so soon, and I can't see the course. Any way to keep the sun up?

Read the readme file. There is another program (included in the zip) that you have to run first. See if that helps.

VCCRT.MSI? Already tried that one, no change. :( When it wants me to select from the two terrains, I can toggle back and forth between them. If I hit Enter to select one, then nothing happens....the HD doesn't run, nothing. I hit Enter again, and it closes.

Bummer. I have to hit enter twice too, but the second time makes it open. You'll just have to come over and check it out one of these evenings.

Yeah, just moving the guy around the course sucks.
Apparently yesterday I had the rockbuggy up to 60 when it rolled before I left the ROR lot.

Didn't even appear to be moving on the monitor.

Off to the RAM store, the video card store, and the processor store I go.

on the sun use the " - " on the number pad on your key board to get the sun to come back up.:)
Sweet! I was hoping there was a way to do that! Thanks!

Press 'Q' to go into manual shift mode, and leave the buggy in first. It rolls over a lot less when it's going slow. ;)

that trail behind the garage is tuff. i get about half way up and then tumble all the way back down.

dont drive your buggy into the ocean. i thought it was laying on its top upside down on the bottom of the ocean, with the tires just above water. so i tryed to back the rescue truck in to the water:rofl: the rock crawler floats, tires up. there is no rescue for the rescue vehicle.

Thanks for the tip on keeping the sun out! I finally made it all the way through the rock course! The key is keeping it in first gear, and very careful use of the throttle. The physics of the game are far from perfect, but it's by far the closest thing I've seen to a rockcrawling simulator. The maneuvers I had to use to get through were very similar to things I've done in the real world to get through a UROC course. I really wish this thing had front and rear dig!

Anyone figure out how to change vehicles in the middle of a game?

Press 'enter' to get out of your current vehicle. Walk up to another one and press 'enter' to get in. You can walk back to the shop and choose a new vehicle. You can even have multiples of the same vehicle out at once. Eventually your computer will start to slow down though. I've tried most of the vehicles, but the rockcrawler is the only thing that holds my attention.

The last steep climb? The one you can see to the right of the course, just below the top? I tried going around to the right, and up from there, but could never quite get to the top. I found if you crawl straight up the right wall from the crevice, and give it a bit of gas you can make it straight up the steep face at the end of the crevice. Then you're at the top. I'll draw an arrow.
