Hmmm I've got some 20+ scooters with brakes and some nice tires. Evil thoughts are happening again in my head. No suspension would make things interesting.

what about butterfield canyon since they paved the Herriman side all the way down.no stop signs to blow through a bit narrow but ........
also coming up on traffic would be a bit scary.

Middle Canyon is the Tooele side of the same canyon, it's a little wider and doesn't have such a nasty cliff edge.:ugh:

You just volunteered for the Nobrake Special, Meat. :)

I think 8" of clearance ought to work, but then again, some of the potholes up that canyon can be pretty big.... Maybe an even foot.

Full cage, a la the old Honda Odyssey?? you can get tossed pretty good on those ditches.....

That canyon is a trip... we did a shuttle run once, arms KILLED from the cat tracks and braking the whole way down. Doesnt' seem that bad in a vehicle, but man... it's long, and kind of uh steeper than it seems!..

are we going to start at the top. or somewhere part way down?

we probably wont get many participants with brakes, let alone with out brakes. that road is steep, and i can see it getting really fast. its down hill all the way. no rises or level sections till you get to the pavement.

this is going to be great.

I think the pass is a great place to start. That switchbackish section could be a little much though. And there's a nice blind left turn with a big drop too. Hmm.

I bet we could get a few hours free on a Sunday morning LOL

I'll get Ride Of The Valkyries on the headphones. ;)

8" of clearance? Hmm I'm going for 4"-6" for mine, 36" wide? Brakes on all four or just some major rear cutting brakes (Go-cart). Rollcage definetly plus a helmet and a dash mount cam. How about a night run?
