So, how do the cool kids store their spare drivelines? I was thinking maybe some BIG hose clamps to clamp them to the risers on the cage? What do the kewl kids do?
What do the kewl kids do?
Buy molly shafts.............
pvc pipe with caps, where ever they can fit. Planning to throw mine in the boat sides
Tool box bolted to the trailer. You wont need spares very often... That's not a Cherokee you're driving.
Are you talking about drivelines? Or axle shafts?
Do many of you guys need spare drivelines? I've seen pics of the occasional rock damage to them but I didn't think it was that common...:-\ Never had a problem myself. But I guess that means I'm not wheeling hard enough..
Mine already have rash nearish the pinions. (course, I'm not running the highest clearance axles either)
Maybe you need one of these
BTF Pinion Guard
.........keep it back at the trailer with your spare tire.
we have A to A trails, not the same as down there, but I use the towrig and trailer for spare leaf springs, shafts, tools and dlines. I bought a $40.00 toolbox at Lowes that fits in there really well for all of the gear that needs to stay dry and out of the hands of wouldbethieves. PS anyone that I know that has run the diff anchor has taken it off.
Spare drivelines, shoot, I'm still running my stock CJ front driveshaft (it's about 1" in diameter) and you've seen the trails I've done.
Maybe I'm setting myself up for failure, but so far so good!!
The "tool shed" will live again...
What do you mean, spare parts?????
