Spring Fling in Kanab

The whole family had a great time in Kanab last week! Thanks to all the members of the Canyon Country 4x4 Club that made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice time. With special thanks to Don and his wife who not only led our trail on Saturday, but both did a lot of work while the rest of us were just having fun the whole time. Great day on the trail, great dinner at the park that night and my daughter, Summer, was in seventh heaven getting to pull raffle tickets out of the box and drawing her own name twice .

Hog Canyon is a great wheeling location too. Savage Point was a fun trail, nothing to get nervous about, but plenty of obstacles just challenging enough to be fun. And the scenery is fantastic. We'll definitely be back again, think we'll do the Tom's Canyon trail next year.

It's not easy taking pictures while driving and answering three questions a minute from your daughter, keeping the whole family comfortable and entertained all at the same time, so I didn't get a whole lot of really good pictures. But, here's quite a few of the ones I did get.

What is that cave called?

If it has a name, I don't know it. But it goes under the highway just off the NE end of the Barracks trail.
