Stolen suburban

My brother in-laws 92 suburban was stolen today around 4:30 PM from his work in SLC he works at the sears in Downtown i think it is around 900 so? anyways he came out of work at 6 to go home and it was gone so he called police and they pulled the security tapes and got it on film. It was a woman and it took her less than 60 seconds to get in it and take off. his doors were locked but the far back doors do not lock she climbed in and was gone in less than 60 seconds he says. The security cams scan the lot in 6 different frames and each frame is about 10 seconds long and it caught her just as she was opening the rear door and by the time the cam had made its rounds(60 sec) when it came back to the last frame she was already gone It is Grey in color with about a 4" lift and 33's and it has a roof rack on it but the rack is ***SMALL*** and is towards the rear and has a spare in it. the inside has car seats in it and a stroller and a blue cooler(Just incase you can look inside). I don't have any pics or a plate# but just thought maybe you guys can help keep an eye out for it. We hope she just needed a ride from point A to point B and will leave it after that.If you think you might have seen it please call me 427-5133 and just let me know when and where and we will go check it out.:-\

My own Suburban was stolen, before I got it. I hates thieves, I does.

I work down that way, and I hate to hear this happens. Light Gray? Dark Gray? Any photos at all you can get for us?

It is a darker gray and im sorry he has no pics of it i know it makes it hard the biggest thing will be the small roof rack on it and the rack is made out of i think 2.5" exhaust tubing

Cool, so it's a small, but thick roof rack. If he gets the truck back you can call it TunaCan from now on.

Well they found it it showed up at sportsman's warehouse in sugar house i think they said? The girl that took it busted the steering column to get it started. they used it to go to lagoon we know this because of the park passes found in there. They cleaned it out took everything that was in there except 2 fishing poles they even took the used sunflower seeds out of the glove box but left the fishing poles the suburban had a full tank of gas so they ran it all out then ditched it but before leaving it they thought it would be funny to graffiti the inside with there special gang symbols and writing in black spray paint :sick:. Thanks to all those who kept a eye out for it

Good thing it was found, but that still really stinks. I can't believe they even took the car seats and stroller. That is just lame.

if that spray paint is on the cloth or on the carpet Let me know if you want me to try to remove it I own a carpet & upholstery cleaning business and am very good at what I do. I would be happy to try to remove it for you at no charge just to see if I can get it out I have run into spray paint a few time and been very successful at removing it.

also if you have not already tried to remove it ( DONT!!!! )
