Stupid people that ride on rigs or stand up while moving

Anyone else notice the amount of stupid people at EJS this year that were either standing up in the back of a rig, or trying to play superman and hang off of or around the tubes on a buggy?

WTF? You wanna talk about stupid things that you can do while wheeling, I am going to say that this ranks pretty high on the list.

And when you tell them to put there seat belts on or get out during obstacles they tell you to F*** off. Ask Suka, or anyone from my group what happens when you roll and don't have seat belts on. Damn stupid people even had a freakin' baby in the rig without a belt or car seat!!

I seriously hope this is a trend that doesn't catch on, because I don't want to loose a trail because some dumb ass fell out/off a rig and died. And there are some people on this board that are guilty of this, xj-punk and Olly are some of the ones that I know about.

Please stop, and put your belts on! I don't want to waste a day on the trail trying to get you or your buddies busted up bodies to the hospital because you are a dumb ass.

Kinda bothers me too. You never know what will happen, stay buckeled up.

The thing I don't like is people jumping on your rig and holding it because they think it might tip over. Idiots. If I want help stablizing my rig, I'll pull out a strap and hook it to my vehicle for you monkeys to hang off of.

Haha. /rant

I wonder how many people get ran over or hit by a rig at an obstical (sp) durning EJS or anytime. I hate it when ther are tonz of people right by the trail or like you said grab your rig to hold you down. then it makes me worried about them and not running them over instead of trying to make the obstical.

I was on Cliffhanger behind some dumb ass showoffs. One guy was going up a good size ledge and got a little sideways, his "buddy" decded to help by pushing from the DOWNHILL side  :ugh: I was just waiting for the guy to get squished if the Jeep had rolled. If you want to help, atleast be on the uphill side!!!

the master of the obvious strikes again!

I've hitched rides on buggies to prevent walking (i.e. from LPG to UPG etc.) without belt. Smart, probably not, but it's not like we were doing 40 off the dunes.

Not wearing a seatbelt of any sort while wheeling on difficult terrain is just plain dumb.

wow i am famous!!! yeah i told that dumbass to get off but he wouldn't. i don't have a pass seatbelt yet so on every obstacle i made them get out... but they rode on the back between trails. i told them i didn't want them to but they decided they would anyway, i didn't let it ruin my trip, but it would have sucked if someone got hurt!
BTW sorry we can't all afford seats and seatbelts like you and your blinging rover!!! -_-

The driver is responsible for the injuries inflicted. Nothing Bling about safety.
