stupid question????

hey this might be a stupid question but here it is. I just got air lockers and i was wondering if you can disengage them while driving? or if it is better to be stopped to do it.

But like everything else, I would treat it like you would the t-case. Preferably stopped would be the best way to not break anything ;)

Mine always locked and unlocked better while moving slowly, with my foot off the throttle.

Unlock going as fast as you want, it's the locking in at high speeds that could get hairy. But more than likely you won't even be going over 35 mph when using, or needing, an air-locker..........IMHO

From 2-high to 4-high, shift on the fly (moving) NP t-cases, some of my 20's, and 205's needed to stop then wiggle a little. My split 205 had no problems at all.
Now, going from High to Low range, yes I almost always stop completely....
