I really need to build a sof top for my runner, It sucks covering stuf up with a blanket to try and keep it dry while it rains. Where (close to weber state university, whatever city I live in) could I get snaps, and sumbrella material? Thanks for anyone with any experience.

Look for a tent repair place, just get them to make you something out of some heavy canvas.

yeah they moved to this location now...I highly reccomend sugarhouse awning...even though its more of a drive for ya...we had new tops made for all our boats a year or two ago, 90% came from them and 10% from another shop...the ones they did still looked brand new after two summers and two season, the ones the other shop did were already falling apart and the ones they did fit 100% better and were all around a much nicer top...anything we didn't like they changed, no questions asked...

I made a full length bikini top for my Scrambler, bought marine grade vinyl from Sugarhouse Awning. They also have footman loops, snap kits, etc. to help you connect the thing to your vehicle.

Thats the first place I talked to about getting one made. They would have installed everything, measured, clean, and with one of those plastic windows for 250
I don't have that much to spend!

I never said they made it for me, I just said that's where I got the fabric. Doesn't everyone have a sewing machine?

Sorry, didn't clarify myself, I didn't realise that they sold the bulk crap that I would need to do it myself! How much did all the things end up costing you?

I can't remember the total. SA was the only place that had marine grade black vinyl that was (as I recall) 60" (???) wide. I wanted a seamless top. Plus I bought footman loops, velcro, 1" webbing, etc. etc. Seems like I spent around $60-70.
