I wouldn't throw peels on the trail, orange or banana or whatever, but I do spit my sunflower shells just like a ton of people

here is my point. I've run Pritchet canyon on a thursday and a saturday-----both days I was spitting seeds. I also ran it the following saturday (one week later) I never noticed one shell.

there is a point where you go to far to protect the environment. I'm not going to pack out my urine, and I'm not going to pack out sunflower seeds.

Maybe I'm barbaric

You S.O.B. All the wildlife packs their piss out in a bag. AND you don't ever see them leaving their seed / nut shells laying around, do you? :mad2:

Devin where do you come up with this crap? :D . Sunflower seeds are no more litter than leaves, grass, dirt that you find on the trail or road.

I'm always wondering what the little old lady in her 80's Buick is thinking as I'm spitting seeds dangerously close to her less-than-pristine car. And just curious what the habits of the board-members were. :greg:

I do try to keep the seeds off others cars while at a stop light....that is about the only thing I do try and be careful of.

Yup, pretty sure that's it. I'm pretty much perfect.

I can see it both ways on the trail. What about around town? If you see someone spitting seeds at a stop light, what are your feelings? Seriously, would a cop see it as littering and write me up? Or should I spit to my heart's content?

If i saw you doing that i would probably raise my bag of seeds to you.

What do you chew? I dig the Jim Beam Seeds and David BBQ's

You amateur's. It's all about Dill flavored Spits. Best seeds of all time.

Before I found the promise land, I used to chew BBQ David's.

I've had the jim bean ones and they are ok, but nowhere near the level of Dill Spitz.

I have tried the dill spits, and Not liking pickles in the first place, i don't feel they properly accoutriment my day in a manner sufficient in maintaining the lazy journeyman stereotype.

Spitz are the only sunflower seed worth eating. But I like seasoned better than dill. I haven't tried any of the new flavors yet....

I tried the David dill flavor and they are too salty. I've also tried the Salt and Pepper flavor of that new brand I keep seeing in the plastic container and it too (big surprise) was too salty.

Dill Spitz is my main seed. I tried the Smokey BBQ Spitz and threw away the bag after the first handfull. They were horrible! Never tried the Jim Beam, maybe that'll be my next bag since my current bag of Dill is kinda soggy after the moisture we've had over the last week.
