My 2004 Excursion came to me without the assembly in the dash for the aux. power outlet (labeled "power point" on the dash.) I have pictured one below, but it is NLA from Ford, and I've yet to find one in a parts truck. HELP!

I need the assembly that attaches behind the dash that includes the "roll top desk" cover over the 12v power outlet. It's the part circled in red. IIRC, it attaches to the back of the dash with 3 screws. I just need the assembly that includes the little black door/cover.

Thanks in advance!:)

Is that part of the dash molded on your dash? Or is it just the blank square? You might need the whole dash bezel. I know my 2001 F350 had it in the same spot and it looked exactly the same.

The rectangular section (with the "power point" and "tuner" inside it in the pic) on the bezel is all one piece with the bezel itself, I just need the little door and power point assembly that bolts to the back of the bezel. I just need the black part (and associated pieces behind it) circled in the pic.

Have you seen these threads? Have you checked similar year F250s in your junk yard searches?

*Better link* http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1146416-auxiliary-power-point-part-needed.html

This F250 is being parted out, I don't see your specific item listed but it wouldn't take much to shoot an email asking about that part.

Those ebay links show exactly what I want, just 4x what I was hoping to pay... But if I don't find one locally they'll have to do. Good sleuthing, Nate!

I am hoping someone has one from a project truck that they're not using, or maybe someone could grab one while they're already at the junkyard - that'd be worth a few bucks to me. Who knows, maybe Mitch has an extra one in his glove box?;) Something local from someone I can trust more that a random salvage yard on ebay.

I know that sounds really cheap and lazy. That's because it is.:p
