A group from the We Be Jeepin and Moab Friends for Wheelin' went out to do a little trail work and have a fun run on Pritchett Canyon last Saturday, October 25th.

This just happened to be on Susan's birthday and she looked forward to her special day on the trail. It was special too......check her out in the Woman Driver blue Samurai....

She made Rocker Knocker look like a bump in the road.....

At the lunch stop just above Rocker Knocker, Susan's husband Jeff surprised her with a birthday cake. It's a good thing the candles were left off! (I'm not going to tell you how old she is but since we just had a fire recently here in Moab, putting 50 candles on a cake could be considered hazardous!)

After lunch, it was time for a little Rock Pile Action.
Some like to go the traditional route......
Here's Melissa and Melanie giving it a shot......

While others like to go to the New Rock Pile (affectionately known as Son of Rock Pile)

Here's Susan making quick work of this obstacle.

Here's Jim following behind in the Bad Cat.......

After finishing Pritchett, it was off through scenic and fun Hunter Canyon and quickly over to the White Knuckle obstacle. There was a group waiting at this obstacle to see if we were going to go up. (Apparently there was a break down up above and bored folks wandered down)
Well, not to dissapoint. There were five vehicles and all five climbed it unassisted. This was Susan's first attempt at White Knucke and having that birthday magic, she got her wish and climbed it like a pro.

This was Jim's first shot at it as well. Nice work Jim!
