I have 2.5" Sway Away Air Shocks on my rig that I'm just finishing up with 4 link suspension and I'm wondering if there is anyone that could help me with setting them up they are ok they just don't spring back like I would like them to. After I flex quite a bit the rig stays leaning to the one side until i push on it a little or flex the other way.

They'll do that frequently when they're new, or have sat for a while. Have you driven it around much? I'd guess when they're "exercised" they'll be much more neutral.

Side note--is that a D35?

If you outboard the axle side mounts closer to the tires, It will helpw ith it sticking to one side. It looks like they are almost straight up and down? A swaybar would also help

going to be pretty tough with that sweet stock width D35 axle. i thought it was more advantageous to mount airshocks as vertical as possible (?)

When i was doing mine i was told to lift the rear of the vehicle up until the shocks are maxed out (have a forklift?). Then charge them to what is needed and set them down. Without a sway bar its like driving a boat. :)

When they are outboarded close to the tires, I would say yes. That dana 35 is a sweet axle bro!:D

Most of the reason I don't like air shocks is because of the problem your having. They can be adjusted to ride better. Good luck, especially with the 35:D

It has taken a very long time of tinkering with my air shocks, but I can positively say that I have solved the sway problem with my shocks and I have no swaybars. I can haul down a road and take a sharp turn and my chassis stays level. The sway problem is a combination of suspension geometry and airshock issues.

Just wanted to point out that it's possible, but it's difficult. :D

AirShock Adjustment

Herzog, What did you end up doing to yours? what setup is it?
Yeah We have played with the oil and air pressure and it helped a ton maybe i need to do even more oil any ideas of how much on oil and pressure? I hear so many different things?

Do you have a picture of the vehicle at ride height?

I figured they could be adjusted:) If I got a really cheap or free pair I'd even try to run em too. I've even heard of ppl really liking them on their rigs I just don't want to find out what it takes to get em to work like you have yours:D
