its not so bad. just get it done. thay gave me some little blue pill to take an hour before the appt, then i got another one when i got to the dr. office. that made the rest of the visit a bit fuzzy.
it was done in the dr.'s office. took about 15 min. heres the funny part, the dr. was female, my wife was in there too, then the dr. asks if her helper can come in and assist. sure why not? in walks the 19-20 year old cutie from the front desk. so here i am "nuts out" ready to be sliced and diced. three ladies standing around me, with their full attention on my junk. a little awkward to say the least.
so they had asked me to trim the night before, and i did. but the dr. decided that it wasnt enough so she had the assistant drag the razor around my bag a few times. why they have to shave the whole thing for such a tiny little incision, makes no sence to me.
next comes the needle. this is the most painfull part. have you ever had the kind of pain that there was no other response to but screaming laughter? well thats how it was for me.
after that there is a little probing and proding. a small incision is made the vas(spelling) is pulled through the incision, clamped, cut, and coterized. then they may stitch the hole, the incision is so small they dont always need to.
get it done on a friday afternoon so you have the weekend to recover. 2 bags of frozen peas are a must. one in the freezer one on your junk at all times. tighty whities are recomended. you want as much support as you can get or they will get sore. i was back to work on monday. after that the most annoying thing is the hair regrowth itch. and the scar will itch a little as you are healing.
