As bad as I would like to be in the parade, Im happy they feel like they do not need the rally as the State Legislators have pressed foward with the lawsuit against the Feds. This is great progress.

There's no TBU rally because bills that TBU were pushing for have been passed and signed into law. I did hear a rumor that there might be a BB-Q instead.

It's not great progress if you believe that The Constitution gets in the way of the real work that need be done.... like some on this thread :D

No, I was speaking of the peeps mocking the peeps who have attended the past rallys. I was speaking of the people who think a little government reliance is OK... as long as we can pick the government over-reach. I believe that UT is considered more of a territory than a state by the Fed and I am not OK with that. I believe these fights are worth fighting and you can disagree but you'd be wrong... just sayin'

As far as lawsuits, we really need to see how November shakes out. If we send the liberals into the wilderness, I think UT will find a much friendlier climate in DC and lawsuits may not be needed. For the record, I am pro drilling, pro mining and pro whatever else turns our economy around. If we could tell the middle east to eff off because UT and other western states are producing, I would turn to Meca 5 times a day and flip it the bird.... it's on my bucket list.

Joseph... I think we may have finally found something we both agree on :)

I thought the TBU rally was not scheduled this year due to the fact that Scoutabout was going to quit complaining about U4WDA and USA-All and start his own land use organization and thus there was no need for it this year.

Criticism isn't always a bad thing. I think the .org's should be much more critical of themselves and press harder.

Not opposed to any criticism, just like to take the opportunity to jab Steve back when he jabs.

I wish we had more man power to push forward harder, but we do with what we can until all the people pulling the cart right now burn out.

Hi all. TBU is skipping this years Parade and Rally. Since its an election year and the passing of HB148 we are going to be attending smaller events to educate people of what is going on in our state as well as surounding states and do some fund raising for next years event. We are discussing having a rally during the legislature in February 2013 in addition to the parade/rally later in the year. Thanks
