Tech advice on fixing fullsize frames...

Its the old c-channel frames. ( toyota ) I just welded ratpak7's frame that was broke right in half at the steering box. We now are wanting to get a plate and weld it into the frame for more sapport. I now have a 70 k-5 that I will do the same to BEFORE it breaks. Anyone have company names or writeups on this?

I have seen a few frame repair kits in Mags, for the Chevs. Its a super common thing for frame cracks on 'em. I'd go find a Chev Truck HotRod mag at the local news stand and look for the kit.

I found colorado k-5 I just fixed my buddies frame...85 k-5... was broke right in half..
