Tell me the difference between a marine GM 350 and a car/truck motor

Hmmmm, I guess I'll pull the 350 truck motor out of my boat.:rolleyes: It might give me grief. Oh wait a minute? It's been in there for years without any problems.:rofl::rofl:

i am actually a boat tech and the only difference between marine and a standard engine is the camshaft they put different cams in them for low end torque you just need to make sure you use a marine carb, starter, distributor, and altinator and you should be fine just pull all your external parts off the marine one and bolt them on your other one. the biggest issue is please use a marine carb because the automotive carb doesn't vent to well and can flood in a boat and cause it to blow up. heck in my own project i'm dropping a marine 350 because of the low end torque and simplicity
