Tell me what you think about this deal

I have found a guy that has a good condition Jeep NP 208 that he will sell me for $300, but I got to get it shipped from Canada so thats like $90 bucks. Does that sound like a reasonable price? Anyone know of any junk yards with a J20 in it?

That's a lot of money for an old t-case. I would be willing to bet the shipping may be more with it crossing national borders.

Get off the computer and go hunting....Shouldn't be that hard to find. PnPull usually has a few. Call around to the wrecking yards, if all else fails call 6states shops Orem, Ogden and SLC, bet they have one in a pile some where....
I wouls ay adapt a 231/241/300 before you spend that $$ on a 208....

Yeah, but the adapter for run a 231/241/300 would cost me more than the whole jeep did

All the FSJ guys, say that the 208 is probably the best bolt in t-case for the waggy's. Plus the whole 180hp that my worn out 360 is putting out probably wont break anything

I believe those are the same bolt pattern as the 208. I don't know how interchangeable the input shafts are.
