temorary housing reccomendations between houses?

We just moved to Utah last week and my job gave me temporary housing for a while but I need to find somewhere to stay until our house is done. anyone have any recommendations? prefer something furnished, as close to Saratoga springs as possible, and available between sept 2 to about October first. Any suggestions would be great.

For a month it's pretty hard finding something, possibly the extended stay hotel next to the park and ride in Lehi/AF? (across the street from the Trax station).

Wouldn't recommend an extended stay to anyone unless you like breathing in meth

One other possibility.
Put an ad on KSL that you would like to sublet an apartment for however long you need it. Perhaps someone wants to move but has that number of months left on their current lease. Not as simple as a month to month but could end up cheaper (you pay a premium for monthly)

What is your family situation? You can find a camper for a couple grand, find somebody that well let you plug into their house power, and live in close quarters until it's done... That is exactly what we are doing. We have to be out of our house (sold it) in a week and the house we're building isn't done for 2 months. We'll see how long my wife lasts...

My parents did this when I was younger. Sold the house and we lived in a camp trailer for the summer in a freinds driveway while new house was finished. Took longer then was supposed to (like always). My mom and sisters were not very happy.

Was a long summer.......

My niece just did the same thing...lived in a borrowed motor home while the house was being finished up.

How much family? I moved to Salt Lake on a Greyhound and lived in an extended stay for several months until I got on my feet, but I was single. That'd be harder with kids and a wife, but a month might be tolerable.

i might post on ksl to see if anyone wants to rent one. it would be my wife and I plus two little girls. I looked up some of the rental companies and being summer it was way more expensive than i thought.
