Don't miss the last trail run of the year!!!

Tentative schedule is as follows:

Friday the 12th:

10:00am- Meet at the Portal RV park. Trail selection will be decided by the rigs that show up.

7:00pm- Meet at Portal RV park again to run Hell's Revenge at night!

Saturday the 13th:

9:00am- Meet at the Portal RV park to run Metal Masher.

3:00pm- Portal RV again. Split into two groups- one will run Pritchett Canyon, one will run Cliffhanger/Amasa Back.

We look forward to seeing everyone there! Don't worry if you aren't a customer (yet... ;)) as everyone is welcome!

If you would like to attend, please post up here or call 801-713-3314 so we can get a semi-accurate head count and also know who to wait for!

See you Sat. Are you planning to be back from the Metalmasher run in time to do the Pritchet or is it an either or deal?

I wish I was going to be there to find out. :( It's my Dad's 80th birthday, so I naturally have other commitments that weekend. (can you believe the audacity, him having his birthday on the weekend I want to go to Moab?)

You might want to call sometime tomorrow or next week and talk to Dennis, he's sorta the organizer-dude.

Is anyone invited, TeraFlex user or not? Also what is the skill level needed. I am bringing both Jeeps and my son or daughter will be driving one and I the other and they have never off roaded. I do not know the trails to take them on my own we are just getting into this as far as Moab is concerned.

Anyone is welcome as long as we have an idea of who/how many will be there.

As far as skill level, all of the planned trails are at least a 3+/4 (moderately difficult, probably not ideal for a first-timer)... But we can maybe adjust trail selection depending on who shows up and how set up the rigs/drivers are.

Depending on how well your kids do with the driving they may be ok as long as the Jeep is set up (lift and tires, hopefully at least one locker...)

Rigs are fine, both have 6" long arm, 35's and locked both front and rear and 4:1 TCs. I am ok on skills but the kids are not quite there, 18 yr old boy and 19 yr old girl, but should do ok if coached. We have two jeeps because there is six in our family (bringing a friend this time to make it 7). If they get nervous I am sure we can talk some into drive it over that obstacle or I can just drive both one after the other.

So count us in on Friday for sure with two rigs and 7 people. Not sure on the rest of the weekend, friends coming down and may take us on a different trail.
