We've had our trail ride planned to be in Price on June 21st, but since the Castle Country King Crawlers have their Challenge event the weekend prior, we decided to just move our date up a weekend so people don't have to choose between the two trips. So, come join us at the King Challenge on June 14th! :D

We are meeting at TeraFlex PLUS Saturday morning at 7:00 am, and heading out from there. We are meeting a few people at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon at approximately 8:00. We should be passing the hospital at the north end of Price at 9 or 9:15 if you would like to wait there also... We are running the Pinnacle trail that morning, and then we are just going down to participate in the runs/events that are part of the King Crawlers Challenge that afternoon.

where are you meeting in spanish fork caynoyn? i might horn in on you guys if that is ok. i want to go and run some of the trails in price but have no idea where they are . or maybe some one could just post directions? i saw the cooridnates in the trail maps section but i don't have a gps. thanks.
 
So is the rating for this trail the 4+/5 as labeled in the trail maps forum? You guys have it listed as a 3 to 4 on your online trail runs event calendar, and I could have sworn the little flyer calendar that I got from the Teraflex Plus store a while back had this months trail listed as a 2.5 :confused:

Not that I won't go, was just curious as what to expect.

Pinn used to be a solid 5. Over the years it has gotten easier and easier as; bypass have been made, rocks have been stacked, and mother nature has been moving things around :-\. I would rate it at about a 4 now. There are still some fun lines but it is not like it was back inthe day.

Thanks for the reply. I did get chance to read this prior to heading out this morning but didn't take the time to reply. We were cutting it short as it was.

I am no expert by any means at rating trails, but what you said I would have to say is spot on. It had some pretty good spots that were challenging with maybe 2 spots specifically that would put it over the top, but you can bypass those if needed/wanted, which we did.

A little late cause now I'm waiting on a trail report but, if you stay in the wash it is rated that high. If you take all th by-passes then it is super easy.
