TH350 Rebuild

Anyone ever rebuild one of these?

I tore one apart and put it back together today,,, Looks easy enough.

I've seriously thought about trying...I bought the haynes manual for Turbo Hydros and it gives you a step by step picture guide...let me know if you do it and how it goes...

another thing thats cool about it is it shows you how to ID your tranny, what year it was built and if it was built on the am or the pm shift even...

You need two things: A good manual or instruction, and a couple special tools. Carl recently rebuilt his (the 350 going in his buggy), give him a call at Rocklogic4x4.com and ask him about it. He is particularly mechanical and very good at things, I'm sure you can do it too. BC knows how to do it as well. Also, there are step by step video's on how to do em too, I've seen them advertised in the back of 4x4 mags.

Try picking up a video copy by Technical Video 1-888-785-2604 They will have a step by step video that will show you how to rebuild any auto trans. I bought a copy of the 700R rebuild video. Excellent video.I had never rebuilt a auto trans before and I got mine right the first try. including installing a shift kit,corvette servo,and 700r updates.(unbreakable pump rings a must) my .02..
