TH400-205 adapter

bought a 205 today and need the adapter to go to a TH400 please let me know if you have one, really dont wanna spend 250 at AA

I have one for the round pattern 205, it came out of an 86 chevy 1 ton. I have seen them on ebay but they want $250 for them.

this will sound total noob im a jeep guy turned toyota/chevy, but what is a round pattern 205? i can imagine what it is but just wanna make sure i really dont wanna spend the 250 everyone wants for them,

The older 205s had an adapter that was shaped like a figure 8, the newer ones had a round pattern adapter that is more like what is on the 231, 241 etc.

yes, they are all cast, heavy SOB's.

As Tacoma said all 205s are cast, the newer ones have a round mounting pattern rather than the older figure 8 mounting pattern.

Good luck. These are going to be hard to find used, everyone keeps them for their own TH400/205

Offroad Design sells new ones out of aluminum, you have to dig through the Doubler section of their site to find 'em though.

Probably stronger. The factory one is cast iron.
