You undo the 4 bolts at the brake drum, and then you simply pull the shaft out.

oh i was told to remove the "c-clips" and was tring to see pass the locker parts to find them:sick:

had a similar thing happen on my tj- i got lucky sent it through the cover- so replace the cover and i was good to go!

got the axle out from under the jeep,removed the shafts to get the bolt and heres what i've got.
the inside of the houseing matches up with the edge of the bolt
