I've been listening to the Black Keys' latest album... might be worth a listen... kind of like... blues w/a modern twist. I REALLY liked their first album, it was like a bolt of lightning when I heard it: just dirty, gritty guitar blues...
The White Stripes I think are kind of hit-and-miss.. when they're good, they're great, but they can be kind of grating too. "Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground", "Hardest Button To Button"... good stuff!
