Well I brought the truck home today.

It runs out pretty well, tons of rattles and little issues to fix, (No Heat!)

But 1 major plus, we found out that it does not have the original trans in the truck. Some point in its life it has had a overdrive trans installed.

This truck runs 2000 rpms at 75mph, and will top out over 80.

Usually on the class 8 trucks there are two valves that can be opened or shut off the engine that allows hot water to flow into the heater core..... hopefully it is a simple fix....

Clean old binder, Must have been a Hay Hauler.
Questions, Do you need a CdL with it having both rear axles?
Insurance cost? And how is the MPG? I have a feeling we will hit 5.00 a gal. in the next 4 years
Should be a fairly safe way to tow.

It had a hydro seeder on it, barn stored when not in use. Shouldn't on the cdl, don't know on ins or mileage. Guessing for 6mpg

Sitting in the drive way, for sale. Im not going to run a tow rig this year so it can go down the road.

Its on ksl for $3500, runs good, overdrive trans, block heater works very well, cab tilt now works, all lights good. Old and rattles, but its a worker.
