Reading this post makes me think two things.
#1- How grateful I am for the people who have taken the time to stand up and serve this Country. It is not an easy thing to sign up to walk away from your everyday life to pursue the greater good of you family, friends, and community.
To ensure the this way of life that we love, can and will go on. For believing in freedom and stepping forward to support it, even if you may be asked to give the "ultimate gift" to your fellow countymen.
My hat is off to you and the flag you represent and protect. Even though I can't change others, I can say that I will be one of the first to Stand and put my hand on my Heart, in appreciation and reverence for past, present and future sacrafice that you give to keep us FREE.
#2- If you have served, are serving, etc. THANK YOU, for this wonderful place to live and love.
