So I took it over to Robb and after I got it sand blasted to get all the rotten metal cut out. They hooked me up and knocked out the frame in one freakin day! It was a blast!

That was a hell of a day, I was so happy towing it home that night! I think it wasn't till the next day that I took a few pictures of the rear crossmember and then started painting it;

It is so nice rolling around on the boxed frame with the new box tube sides. Ford used flat sheet metal bent into a box shape with a seam weld down the length. They are crap. I think around 16ft ended up getting cut out in total (12ft being the sheet metal stuff).

idahoyj What are your modification plans for the Galaxy?

The primary is link the rear end so I can fit 33's or 35's under it and SAS the front. But, I would also like a dash board, expanded steel windows, an offence bumper, 4 wheel drive, igniters, and anything else you'd stuff in a Mad Max/Demolition Derby car. Oh, and a diesel or 460 swap, this 390 has been a bear to work on!
