So here I am in Wamsutter WY, pop. 68, yes that's right, 68. It is like the moon up here, very strange scene.

Anyway since there is so much to do here I found myself rummaging through a box of magazines. What's this? Desert Sports & Recreation Magazine! well aaaalright!

To my complete and unfettered surprise, p.52 starts an article about a trip to the St. George area, written by our own Marc Milner, and featuring Carl, Bart, and some nobody named "Dean Bulloch". :D :D EDIT: and everyone's favorite privacy advocate, BRADEN, was there too. :D

Anyway, it's the May/June 2006 issue, and I have never seen this magazine before. Quite naturally unexpected here.

:D

Hey, I was on that trip... So I got snubbed out of the article just 'cause I punched a hole in my oil pan the first day? :wtf:

Spencurai hooked me up. They do need some people up here. I'll ask for the relevant email addresses in a few hours when we head out again. ;)

In Wamsutter there are 2 buildings with cement foundations 1. the gas station 2. the post office. All the other buildings have wheels under them!

I used to stop in Wamsutter for fuel on my 13+ hour weekly drive to Kansas :ugh: Cool place

Laramie is a pretty cool place home of Wyo Tech

I expecially like the drive between Laramie and Ft. Collins Colorado. Ft. Collins.... Ah I could see myself owning a ranch near there. (Thinking out loud again )
