Analog cell lines are rapidly vanishing.. ATT (Cingular) has been changing over all thier towers to run on the GSM networking which is only digital. If you still have an old phone that runs analog you'll find that the service is rapidly dimishining. Not sure about verizon, but part of the Sprint/Nextel merger is moving all of the lines to digital towers as well. just a little random info from someone in the know.. ;)

I'm good at doing things even though I know better. Another thing that screwed me over was that the limited slip in the rear decided not to.

Yup, analog is on the way out... it's not as profitable. It would be nice if someone would make a digital phone that can boost it's tx power up to a couple watts (most are around 0.6 or less)

Back in the days when I was packing a Brick (and was on Cellular One) I could make a call from right were the truck was stuck..... of course the call would have been $1.25 a minute.
