SPILL all of the details! Are you going to try to keep it slow? Will the cones be used just to mark boundries or will they be the obstacle. If they are really close and are used as the obstacle then I fear it will be like the "ROCS". But let me know I'll help where I can.
These trail type of comps open up areas that would not work for the big"ROCS" type of arena.
Sam you've been there (Rock Race) and of course Josh and Paul know first hand of what it's all about.
Everyone I know that has been to this type of comp. loves it. It's more about driving and less about spotting and judges. And the spotter gets to sit back and enjoy the comfortable ride
. If you've never seen this you really need to check out one before you judge it.
No it's not for everyone. It is rough on your rig. You don't need an $80,000
moon buggy but you do need a tough rig and the balls to drive it. I'm willing to admit this form of "Crawling"
is for those of us who aren't quite right.

PS if you like to see people like Shannon Campbell, Chris Durham, and Joe Brown drive then you'll love these events. Mike Palmer and the rest of us are sitting here waiting on the other leadfoots to show up.
