Ok, let's try to rehome my truck.
2008 GMC 2500HD Duramax/Allison.
241K miles.
To recap for those who haven't followed my other threads, has had episodes of going into limp mode, each time while trailering up hills.
First time 2 years ago coming out of Bullfrog into the Henrys. Never could diagnose it, 2 years of use with no issues including multiple trips with 24 foot boat (Flaming Gorge and Powell) and a number of trips between Grantsville and Wellsville with loaded horse trailer.
In July did same thing going up Spanish Fork Canyon with the boat. Got back to Spanish Fork and traded trucks with my cousin who took it to the shop while I vacationed. Communication was limited, but all they came up with was to replace air and fuel filters. Did it again taking the horses up Sardine few weeks later.
By the time I could arrange towing for truck and trailer back home, codes off and running well. So decided to punt and buy new truck.
With all that in mind, let's talk and try to come up with fair price.
