Not much to add right now but a few pics.

Built this rig about 6 years ago, sold it shortly after and sense then Ron has been taking care of it for me.

New 38" Nitto Mud Grapplers, some H.O.R.E. tube fenders, some more DOM to finish the cage.

Thus far I've added a PSC Hydro ram, full tune up, and I have a complete font clip from a 01 XJ.

Planning on painting the entire rig flat red, having the tube fenders powder coated flat black maybe (suggestions?).
Going to lower the entire thing probably 4"also.

I'll update as I progress but it won't be a fast rebuild.
When I get the tires all mounted I'll have a good set of 37/14.50r15 Toyo MTs for sale.
One is brand new still.

Rear is a 8.8 w/superior chromo shafts
Front is a hp 30 with a Super 30kit, arb, ctm's.

No problem.

Been running 37's for 6 years.

Driving style means a crap load.

I drove my samurai with 36" Swampers for 8 years.
Did every trial in Moab but U H. They were upgraded but you can only do so much with a samurai axle.

Was able to get the rear spring hangers completed as well as all the tires mounted.
Tube fenders area on. Wasn't going to put on the fronts yet but o don't have time before we go to get the new tins painted and installed.

Can't see them but I replaced all the brake hoses with stainless braided and three front breaks have new rotors and EBC Yellow stuffs.

Greased the CTM's and started replacing the rear hatch.

I think they do actually but not sure.

My rear axle is a 8.8 with 2"spacers and 38/15.50's mounted on reversed 15x9's to give you an idea of what they cover.

I ran my old Cherokee with stock dana 30 shafts and joints with 37 maxxis creepys. Ran that way for 3 or 4 years with 1 joint failure. I agree driving style has everything to do with longevity of parts.

Had a great time in Moab.

Ran several trails,
Hells Revenge,
Poison Spider,
Britney Speer,
Drop Kick,
Lock Jaw.

Went to do Upper Helldarado but there was a line.

Britney Speer was FREAKIN AWESOME!

Next Step is to get the front sheet metal replaced.
Thinking of just doing a digital camo paint job. The rest of it is to rough to make "nice" again.

Then I think I'm buying a Bender so I can finish the internal cage and maybe add some more protection on the outside as well.

The 38" Mud Grapplers were just amazing.
And yes I still have the hp30 in the front and the 8.8 in the back.
Diving style is where it's at.
