I love the Givi windscreen. Even at it's lowest point it kills it. In fact, I moved it up to the highest point while going up Mirror Lake Hwy at 65-70 mph. I actually took a phone call coming through Hannah on the hwy because it was quiet enough. I jumped on my buddy's T7 because he wanted to ride an 890 and the wind noise was crazy. I suddenly remembered why I went looking for a solution to the wind and noise. I did hit a spot of 85 MPH between Wanship and Coalville on the only stretch of freeway and it was perfect at the lowest height.

197 miles today, started in Coalville and rode up Chalk Creek Rd into the Uintas to the Super Bowl, over to double hill and out Gold Hill to the Mirror Lake Hwy and then cut off into Soap Stone. Rode through Soap Stone through Duschene Ridge and out to Hannah for Lunch. Went back up in the mountains and came out above Lake Creek and went over and out in Woodland. We then rode the back roads back to Coalville.

I know this is a long shot, but anyone here happen to have any knowledge about Yamaha windshield brackets? I need some measurements of a xv1900. Specifically the windshield brackets, or the brackets themselves.

Thanks!

Also to rant slightly...WTF is up with the FB scammers ?? I've found the brackets I need 5 different times and they have all been African scammers. Its not like this specific obscure bracket is in high demand... Why is it this part for this specific bike?

Have you tried Grim Cycle Salvage in Orem? I think they specialize in metric bike parts.

I put these tires on more than a year ago, but have still only seen street. Finally got to ride dirt today, and the difference between these and the regular road tires is night and day. Previously any dirt road was like driving on marbles. With these, is was suspension and rider skill that were the weak links.
