The Texas Pickle build-up

I have wheeled my 97 Jeep in it's current form since 2003, somehow it has stayed together through some serious abuse. Alot of Texas wheeling and even a few rolls in Utah, Big hot tub and little Moab. I have done some trails and obstacles that even buggies had trouble with. So, I am going to hack off my crap fab and 110 welds and mimic the Swollen Goat, with the Goat's approval of course! Boatsides, rearhalf tubes ect... I am going to run ORIs and chop the front frame also. Goat told me to post up some progress, so here goes!!!

I removed my fenders, corners, bumper, sliders and soon I will rip out the cage.

Stay tuned and with a little luck, a local builder to SLC will clean up "Pickles" to a vehicle I can be proud of...

I took most of the steel off and the suspension grew 2 inches. I hope to shed some serious weight with the new build.

I have a few ideas about some weight loss so this build will be fun!
