White Sands area was great. Actually too warm. We ran the Enduro Trail, Dead Cow, and the Tubes. The bottom of Dead Cow is blocked off near the river. You have to go up a narrow sandy hill and then they keep you up high on the hill until you drop down into the bottom of the Tubes. I think it got up to 65 today and it was nice and sunny. A good dinner at Rays Tavern on the way home made it a great day

Was at WW a few weeks ago. They have been doing a quite a bit of trail mod/rehab work this spring. The crazy parts of the Enduro Loop have been completely reworked and is now quite manageable. Was also surprised by the fence at the bottom of Dead Cow. The new path doesn't seem to be any better for the environment than the old path, but who am I to judge. It was at least nice to see that it was still open. Some people need to be thanked for the hard work that they have done to maintain and keep it open. Closing it all together would have been the easier thing to do.

I should have taken a pic of the fence. It was huge. The climb out was rutted about a foot deep by a foot wide

hard to beat chops at Rays. I wish they had a really good steak

I need to do this ride with you Russ. I have ridden WW 2 dozen times but I don't know if I have ever ridden these trails. I was usually trying to keep up with a group of super fast guys so I never could look around and they didn't know any names, just routes.

There were so many people there yesterday. Where they all riding kTMs? There were little cities of Toy Haulers starting just outside of Woodside and really showing up at White Sands

Anybody headed to rmatv today? I need some hand guards and don't have time to get down there. $10 gas for driving 2 miles off the freeway to my house. ;)
