Unfortunately I'll have to wait for the next trip. I hope I can join you next time you get up there

Sounds good. I would also welcome having you show me more around Bountiful. I am only familiar with Old Ward Canyon and Skyline Drive.

Thanks,
Jared

Dang it!!! Read this 1/2 hour too late. Would have LOVED to do this ride, but I just scheduled myself some work in the morning.

I'd be glad to show go ride around with you, I'm always looking for someone to go with. Bountiful doesn't have much else to offer but we could certainly spend a day above the 'B'

Rode from my house to Soda Springs Idaho and back. I'm pretty satisfied I've been wanting to make this loop for a very long time. For the most part I was on the Highline Trail or fire roads. I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 150miles--and I feel it haha! Still LOVING the ATK Corbin

WEAR YOUR HELMET!

Went for a great loop yesterday! 120 miles of mostly two track and fire roads we hung out at a friends cabin and then we managed to cool off near the Paris Ice Caves

The route to the ice caves is very popular for ATV's. There's one section where we like to stop and take a break that has a nice overlook. While we were sitting there a group of ATV's passed us--several minutes went by and another one passed with a lady and a younger boy (probably 9 or 10 years old) on board. The trail heads downward with a very steep drop on one side. Shortly after the last ATV drove past we hear this horrific screaming and shouting unlike anything I've ever heard before  All of us ran as fast as we could down the trail to find the lady on the ground screaming in pain. They caught a rut just right and it apparently flipped them. The 4 wheeler they were riding was nearly the size of a Suzuki Samurai and the boy was the only one that had a helmet on... She's lucky they didn't roll off the cliff and even luckier that big ATV didn't land on her head. The group she was with was waiting miles away at the bottom of the trail-- :-\ In the end she was able to make it safely back and learned a valuable lesson.

Please wear your helmet--make your kids were their helmets at all times even if its just around the house or farm.

Steve, I'll go with you Saturday. Sounds like fun and something different. Want to meet at your house around 8:00? I can take my trailer.
My brother just got out of the hospital from foot surgery after crashing downhill mt. biking so I'm going to visit him tonight.

sorry to hear about your brother. I'm going mountain biking tonight, hopefully I don't break my foot.

Would 6AM be too early on Saturday? I think you're going to love this trail.

That will work, I'll just miss my Saturday morning cartoons. At least it will be cooler riding

That's why I wish I had a 4runner instead of a standard cab pickup. More people = more fun.
I'm so excited to ride tomorrow!

Steve can probably fill in those details better than me as he has been there before.

Did you sell your bike? I hope not, and you should definitely come tomorrow!

Ya I sold it a few months ago. Seemed like no one was ever going and when I could no one else could. I'm looking for another though. My wife and I put on trail races (running on single track) and we will be putting a new one on in October. It's 9 miles, so too long to setup on foot and carry all my stuff. She came up with the idea of a dirtbike this time. :D hopefully I'll have one in the next week or so. Looking for another ktm 250. I fall so much I don't want to be picking up a 450.
