A 2nd at Johnson Valley this Sunday locked down my 2nd place AMA National Hare and Hound championship for 2024

The second loop was crazy some hard Enduro stuff on some hammers trails (which is the only thing this old rock crawler is decent at) so I improved 21 positions overall on the second 40 mile loop.
Not too bad for a 40 yr old racing the 30 class.

Thanks! 🙏

Dang that’s cool! I can’t believe how many passes you made in that 2nd loop! Great job this year l. I have no idea how you survived so many races this season 😎

Thanks brother!

Let's see there were:
9 UMORA races and 10 USRA And 6 NHHA.
I missed one NHHA and 2 were co-races with UMORA: so that's 22 races I attended.
I had kids and/or wife racing 20 of those.
I worked 1 UMORA and 1 USRA so those we usually spend a couple weekends extra out working them. So we all spent some serious time in the desert this year. I think between my 5 we took home 80ish finisher pins.

I'm pretty sure your daughter raced more than me though. (Let's get you back on the bike!) I cannot begin to overstate how much I appreciate your help this year. To call you a friend would be a disservice. You're definitely part of the family now. I'm am in awe of how good of an example you are to your daughter, and I hope to be half the father you are someday.

I'm very glad to have had a healthy year with no DNFs (for me) nor major injuries. Just a metric crap ton of PeeWee bike issues some girl bike damage and couple fuel pump issues that took away a 2 or 3 potentially great finishes and a few heat based (me) issues.
