So....I'm thinking of contacting some of the jumpers that it lists at the end of the video to see if they'll show us the best spots to do this, and come set it up for us during the BBQ.....anybody actually in and not just blowing smoke? :) Or would it just be me with my wife threatening divorce the whole time until I was done and safe! haha

On the video I posted they had more than one rope going to the person swinging and across the top and pads to keep the ropes from rubbing on the rocks.

if anything went wrong.....Its Over. If I were suicidal I would do it everyday at luchtime until something went wrong.

I mean really something could go wrong on your way to work. Everyday you wake up it's a series of risks. It's the ritual of doing something everyday that makes it mundane and seem so superficial. Look around at all the idiots who will text while driving, they have become so complacent in what they are doing they think the car drives itself. Who's to say that while drive to work some dumb ass isn't going to run a red light at 40+ and t-bone you. Sure the odds are slim but they are there. This is no different, as long as the right steps are taken and you don't get complacent in what your doing you should be fine.

This is true, I remember when I first got my dad into rockcrawling, on our way home from Moab we were discussion some of the risks that we had taken over the weekend, driving through Spanish Fork Canyon, I mentioned how a hundred years ago, people would have been scared sick to pass another vehicle going the opposite direction at 60 mph within feet of each other. risk becomes relative.
