I bought one for my 4.2L with Mopar injection, it made it run worse. Tried it everyway it could go in and pulled it out. It is in my YJ now and it seems to get about 1-2 mpg worse than without, I am pulling it out soon. Wide-open throttle seems a little better but light throttle (motoring down the freeway) there is a dead spot. I would say no, it is not worth $70.00 bucks to step back. I am running a Hesco computer in my YJ and it will out pull a YJ (similar gears, tire, ect) by a Jeep length or two from 0 to 60 mph. It cost me $200 bucks from Hesco. I tossed my 4 cyl for a Cherokee 4L with AW4 and needed a computer. I get 15 to 19 mpg on the freeway with 35” tires. If you need more power, I would look into a 4L stroker motor. Cost more but you will get some big improvements for the buck.
