TJ/YJ Pitman Arm question

Anyone know if the TJ and YJs share the same pitman arm? I have a drop pitman arm and on the box it says its for a YJ, just wondering if it will work on a TJ as well.

TJs and YJs do not share the same arms. The YJ arm has slightly more drop than the TJ arm. You can however use the YJ arm an your TJ as long as it provides the drop you need. I am pretty familiar with the diferences as I have used both TJ and YJ arms on my CJ at different times.

So the spline count is the same on the steering box end, and the holes are the same on the drag link end of the pitman arms, the only diference will be the amount of drop?

It will work..
If you need more drop than stock get a XJ arm..

Or for even more drop, get a ZJ arm.
